Some news for September!
Here in the Colorado mountains, we’re definitely feeling autumn-y. Temps are much cooler, and the trees are turning. Fortunately we’ve had a very wet summer, so there’s fire danger is low—for a change! Having been evacuated for fire twice, I’m not anxious to repeat the experience!
There are a few cat-related news items I want to bring to your attention:
Bacteria in Dry Food!
There’s a recall happening at Mid America Pet Food due to Salmonella. Dry dog food is their main product, but they also make Nature’s Logic dry cat food. They have a long history of recalls. Many companies that used to use them as co-packers no longer do. Of course, you don’t have to worry about surface contaminants like that, because you’re not feeding *dry* cat food, right? Kitties in the Grass?
